More Than Just Filing

Filing a business tax return is only part of the job. The rest is making sure you've claimed every deduction and credit you're entitled to, chosen the right capital cost allowance classes, and structured owner pay in a way that makes sense.

We prepare T2 returns for incorporated businesses and T1 returns with business income for sole proprietors. Every return gets a full review. If the CRA follows up afterwards, we handle the correspondence for you.

Common Questions

A T2 return is due six months after the end of your corporation's fiscal year. Any balance owing is usually due two or three months after year-end, depending on your corporation's situation, so payment often comes before the return.

If you or your spouse or common-law partner are self-employed, your T1 return is due June 15. Any balance owing is still due April 30, so interest applies to amounts paid after that date.

Usually your financial records or bookkeeping file, bank and credit card statements, receipts for major purchases, and last year's return. We send you a checklist tailored to your business, and you can use the Tax Return Checklist on our Resources page.
